WHEW!!!!

New Years has come and gone and we are well into the month of January.  Things have slowed down a bit here and I for one am so glad.  I have been working "full steam ahead" for so long now it feels good to have something that resembles a schedule.  This isn't a permanent situation for us.  We are getting ready for Valentines Day, that wonderful time of hearts, flowers and of course chocolate.  We will be happy to help you with the chocolate part of your celebration.

I have some demo's coming up over the next couple of weeks.  Again, if you are in the area, please stop by and say hello.  I would love to meet you and of course give you a taste of our truffles.

AJ's Fine Foods will be our host.  You can see us at these locations.

January 13, 4:00 to 6:00 Pinnacle Peak and Pima Road
January 14, 3:00 to 5:00 Central and Camelback
January 19, 4:00 to 6:00 Lincoln and Scottsdale Rd.  (this time may be changed, I will let you know)
January 21, 11:00 to 2:00 Via Linda and Mountain View

Fondly,
Ellie

p.s. Don't forget to sign up for Truffle Thursday.  We will send the lucky winner 2 of our delicious chocolate treats.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS

I usually don’t make New Year’s resolutions, but this year I thought about them in a different way. I hope this makes 2012 a better year for you and those around you.

MAKE A RESOLUTION YOU CAN KEEP
                                  “Be Different this Year”

 1.  Start the New Year Fresh-

 2.  Before tossing those old things to the curb, donate them to one of your local resale shops.  This way the stuff is out of your way and into the hands of someone who can get some more mileage out of it.

 3.  When making gifts for someone you love, remember to make something for someone you’ve never met as well.

 4.  Get inspired this year by subscribing to a new publication.

 5.  Take a class in something you know nothing about.  You’ll learn a new skill and meet some new people.

 6.  Call and reconnect with a friend you have not seen in awhile.

 7.  Take advantage of your limited spare time.  Have your “want to do” projects organized and ready to work on when you are available to work on them.

 8.  Start writing that book you’ve always wanted to write about all the funny stuff your kids and grandkids have done.

 9.  Visit that local museum or park you’ve wanted to see.  Why wait for a reason to do it.

 10. Be a little nicer to yourself this year.

 11.  Take time for yourself.

 12.  Remember celebrations don’t have to be big and elaborate.  A small box of chocolates and a cup of coffee with a good friend is something to celebrate.

Feel free to add to my list and share them with us if you are so inclined.

Truffle Thursday:  Have your friends sign up for Truffle Thursday and win a box of 2 of our delicious truffles.

New Flavors:  We will be coming out with some new flavors and some different creations in 2012. We will keep you posted.

I will be posting my demonstration schedule soon.  I will be at different AJ's Markets throughout January.  As soon as I have all the information I will pass that along to you.  If you are around drop in and say hi and have a taste of my truffles.

Have a great week everyone,
Fondly,
Ellie

HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!!

Wishing you a warm and wonderful holiday season and all the best in 2012.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS
FROM E.J. CONFECTIONS

THE HOLDIAY SEASON HAS CREPT UP ON ME "AGAIN"

The Holiday season has snuck up on me again.  As much as I think I am ahead of the holidays they seem to have that tendency to sneak right up behind me, tap me on the shoulder and I am again running as quickly as I can to stay ahead.

All of our team is working packing and packaging your holiday gifts you have ordered as we speak.  Do you want a great suggestion for a gift for someone who loves rich dark chocolate? Order them a 4 box of our delicious chocolate truffles, Espresso, Amaretto, Creme Brulee, and Raspberry.  Or maybe you know someone with a love for things with a little kick to them.  Try a box of our Truffles blended with hot spices.  We have not forgotten your friends who like things Sugar Free,  Order a box of our sugar free for them.  Remember our Truffles can be ordered in boxes of 2, 4, 8, and 12.  (See our order page for ordering instructions.)  We can also send bulk orders to those who would like to serve our truffles at larger gatherings.  (Contact us directly for that information)  If you would like to see all of our flavors, visit our web site for a complete listing and description.

I can assure you that a gift box of Eleanor Joseph Confections will not be forgotten quickly.  Your friends will be thanking you for a long time to come and will be hinting around for another treat at the next special occasion.

The wine lovers out there will appreciate our Wine Pairing Medallions.  The Medallions are sold in boxes of 8 and 14.  These are especially fun for a group who like to try new things.  Encourage someone at your party to pour the wine and someone to break the medallions to sample.  Different strengths of chocolate and wine paired together can taste wonderful or terrible depending on the blending of the strength of the wine and depth of the chocolate.  Be prepared for some surprises and most of all a very good time.

Many of our customers have expressed an interest in the truffle making experience.  We are introducing a new product, our Adult Chocolate and Wine Affair.  Learn about two of the most sensual aphrodisiacs, wine and chocolate, from Truffle Master Eleanor Joseph of Eleanor Joseph Confections and Cory Whalen, Winemaker at Su Vino Winery in Scottsdale.  This will be a fun gift to give yourself and a friend. Or sign up yourself, meet some new people, have a fun time and learn something new.

The end of 2011 will arrive soon.  There are not enough words to thank you for your support of Eleanor Joseph Confections this year.  We know that without your loyalty to us this would not be possible.   We think about you when developing new events,  We are always thinking about new ideas and products.  We thank you for every order you have placed and every event you have attended.

Fondly,
Ellie

p.s.  Don't forget to sign up for our Truffle Thursdays.  You could be the winner of two truffles just for signing up on our web site.
